the MOTIVATION...

Weeks went by and Kate did not find a need to utilize her powers, apart from her personal use for her garden, or let anyone know of them. From the comic books she read, people with powers usually kept them discreet. So basically, she's still a Zero.

She just went ahead being the usual sassy and outgoing teenager she was.

It wasn't until one day after school, when her girlfriends went to her home and discovered her beautiful garden. Instead of labeling her as "boring", her girlfriends were amazed by the gorgeous flowers and casually commented that Kate should put her gardening skills to good use and improve the greenery in her neighbourhood.

Kate pondered on her friends' comments for a few days. Then it struck her...

She decided to put her powers into good use and spruce up the green scene in the whole of Singapore.

For the unsure, blogshops are just like any other shop, selling just about anything, just that it is set up online. Do you like Shark's Fin Soup?

There has always been talks about how fishermen leverage on the huge market for the consumption of sharks' fins and throw the dying shark back to the water after snipping off their fins, aka "live-finning". In JC, I've even watched a documentary endorsed by our very own Stephanie Sun (Sun Yan Zi) about the harm that this is causing on those sharks and other marine life. All these news left me a bit apprehensive and I even swore to lay off shark's fin. Ellen DeGeneres' Twitter Oscars Selfie Sponsored by Samsung?

It's all over the entertainment news. Ellen DeGeneres and her legendary Oscar selfie cramped with A-listers featuring Meryl Streep, Jared Leto, Jennifer Lawrence, Channing Tatum, Bradley Cooper (the one holding the phone), Kevin Spacey, Julia Roberts, Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt and Lupita Nyong'o.
