Was talking to my friend a while back, and he was telling me about this idea of his which could be incorporated into email.
You know how we always have the problem of saving stuffs onto thumbdrives (for our presentations, perhaps), and then forgetting to bring that puny thing on the actual day? Or like how we want to save something that can be accessible on any computer?
So what most of us (probably students like me) always do, is we send that document to our email, and download it when we need it.
Sidetrack a little: You know, I sometimes get curious why people are using gmail and I go around asking them for the reason. You know what they say? Turns out that they use Gmail because of its huge storage space. Hahahahaha. Well, for people who think that way, you guys are totally un-geeky. Yahoo! mail is the one that has unlimited storage space... NOT GMAIL. -.-" And Yahoo! has messenger converged into their email. If you get a new message, it pops up as a new tab! Way cool. And it's so organized. Also, don't give me the crap about "who uses Y! messenger anyway" when you don't even know that they've integrated with MSN. Yup.. so if you want unlimited space... I suggest Yahoo! email with its cool interface.
Okay back on track. So we usually send those documents to our email so that we can download them for later. Isn't that so troublesome (in a way)? So what my friend suggested was that Y! (we'll use that for an example since it's the one with unlimited space) could integrate a virtual hard disk with its email so that we can just upload our files and save the trouble of creating a new email and sending it.
I think it's quite a neat idea. I, for one, will definitely need something like that =)
What do you think?
